Double stage TDL

TDL single-stage side channel blowers are designed for the compression or extraction of non-explosive gases and gas mixtures, generating vacuum or pressure in a wide range of industrial applications.

Oil-free operation prevents oil from entering the conveyed fluids, making TDL blowers suitable for processes where oil-free air or gas is required. The range includes models with single-phase (1~) and three-phase (3~) IE3 high-efficiency motors.

Specific TDL configurations are also available with FLEXDRIVE technology, DVP’s solution for automatically adjusting blower speed according to the vacuum or pressure value required by the application. Closed-loop control allows blower operation to adapt to the process operating conditions.

Nominal capacity: 85 – 620 m3/h / 60,1 - 365,2 CFM

The main advantages of double stage TDL blowers are:

  • no maintenance
  • no contamination of conveyed fluids
  • silent operation
  • small size and weight
  • easy of installation
  • stability and absence of vibrations

TDL with FLEXDRIVE | The process changes. The blower adapts.

When vacuum or pressure requirements vary during the process, running the blower at the same speed continuously is not necessarily the most efficient solution.

For this reason, selected models in the TDL range are also available in the FLEXDRIVE configuration.

FLEXDRIVE is DVP technology that automatically adjusts the blower speed according to the vacuum or pressure value required by the application.

A sensor continuously measures the actual value and compares it with the setpoint. The FLEXDRIVE control logic then adjusts the motor frequency through the inverter, increasing or decreasing the machine speed according to the process requirements.

Closed-loop control maintains the set value and adapts blower operation to changing operating conditions.

Principio di funzionamento di FlexDrive

Advantages:

  • Automatic control: the blower speed is adjusted in real time according to the required vacuum or pressure level.
  • Energy efficiency: the blower adapts its operation to the load required by the process, avoiding continuous power consumption at the same level even when demand is lower.
  • Reduced mechanical stress: ramp-up starting reduces mechanical stress compared with direct starting, helping to extend blower service life.
  • Greater process stability: closed-loop control reduces fluctuations and enables constant and precise control of the vacuum or pressure value.

FLEXDRIVE is factory-integrated directly into the blower: TDL FLEXDRIVE versions are specific product configurations and are supplied already equipped with the control technology.

Main application fields: air and gas conveyance on machines and plants requiring high suction and delivery pressures, max. operational safety and low noise levels.
