DVP Vacuum Technology implements the Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE)”, which from 15 August 2018 extends the obligations towards WEEE to all EEE.
As a registered manufacturer of electrical and electronic equipment, we participate in financing and organizing the recovery and recycling of vacuum pumps that have reached the end of their life cycle in four European countries (Italy, Germany, France and Spain), taking responsibility for placing them on the market. We are thus committed to supporting the creation of a circular economy in which vacuum pumps are resources to be reused. Proper separate collection favors the reuse, recycling and/or recovery of the materials of which the vacuum pump is made, while at the same time helping to avoid possible negative effects on the environment and health.
We fully support the EU guideline for a more conscious management of WEEE that reduces landfilling, incineration or recovery without pre-treatment with a serious impact on the environment.
